Abstract
This article aims to investigate the need to pay attention to critical thinking in the curriculum design, using the library method. Examining the necessity of addressing critical thinking in the curriculum plan the general goal and what is the need to address critical thinking in the curriculum plan is the main question of this article. The findings of this study show that in order to have students with critical thinking power, one must first learn it and then nurture it, and nurturing it will not be possible without having a written plan. Therefore, in order to teach critical thinking, it should be considered when designing a curriculum. In order to develop students' critical thinking skills for thinking and rationalism, specialists in the field of educational sciences should pay attention to its elements and components in the curriculum design.
