Abstract

This study, conducted using a descriptive-analytical method and based on library research, aims to examine the types of transtextuality and present a systematic model for analyzing intertextual connections in literary texts. The findings indicate that the theory of transtextuality, by elucidating the intricate and multilayered networks of textual relations, facilitates a deeper understanding of the structure and meaning of literary works and steers literary criticism toward new perspectives. The significance of this research lies in its expansion of Gérard Genette's theory of transtextuality and the development of a coherent framework for its practical application in literary studies. This approach guides critics toward a more precise, profound, and harmonized interpretation of texts, fostering a dynamic and interdisciplinary comprehension of literature. The results suggest that employing transtextuality not only enhances literary analysis and enables a more systematic understanding of works but also opens new horizons in literary criticism and contributes to the study of textual dynamics across diverse historical and cultural contexts.
