Abstract

The most fundamental visual element in design is the line. When multiple points are placed so closely together that they become indistinguishable, a sense of direction emerges, forming a continuous path known as a line or a moving point. Lines are prevalent in nature and everyday surroundings, appearing in clothing patterns, furniture, bricks, street poles, and many other forms. In visual arts, the line plays a crucial role, serving as the primary component in constructing shapes and patterns.
