Abstract
The unique situation of street children exposes them to various forms of abuse and harm both in society and within the family environment, necessitating substantial support. One crucial aspect of supporting these children is improving their social health. Social health refers to an individual's evaluation and understanding of their functioning within the community and the quality of their relationships with others, relatives, and social groups. This research aimed to assess the social health of street children. In this descriptive study, 97 questionnaires were collected from street children in the seventh district of Kabul. The Keyes Social Well-Being Questionnaire (2004) was used to assess social health, and the data were analyzed using SPSS 19 software. The findings revealed that the social health of street children, with an average score of 83.16, was not optimal. The results indicated that the social health of street children is in poor condition. Therefore, promoting social health and identifying and addressing the factors contributing to the phenomenon of street children require the collective efforts of all societal levels.
